The coolant over fill tank has a fast leak. When I am driving, sometimes my vehicle will not shift out of first gear. Could the fact the over fill tank is empty cause this?

A leak are not good!

Probably not related to the transmission problem.

transmission (other than normal fluid checks and maintenance) are complicated creatures and I recommend that you take it to a good reasonable transmission professional to deal with it. Too much at stake when I or you make things worse.

As far as the leak, maybe I can help make that all better, thus leaving you a little for the transmission professional.

This is the broken critter?

Now here is where purchasing parts from now on is going to save you and your pals a bundle.

I wish I had been more computer literate a lot sooner than I was.

This is killer savings! My friends, and people I run into think I am some sort of wizard or something.

Read this post, there are pictures at the end, you still may need to do a little homework to stay on top of ever changing deals. Always run "Dry Runs" to insure things are still valid and you will get the best deal you can find.
