Engine Mechanical problem
2004 Infiniti G35 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 55,000 miles

I recently took my 2004 G35 coupe in because the engine wouldn't engage when I stepped on the gas, and when it did engage it picked up slowly. I thought the transmission was at fault. I took it in and the dealership said the radiator transmission cooler line was leaking and I had to have the radiator assembly replaced. I now received a letter from Infinity saying that the 2004-2007 G35 coupe radiator fan motors may be faulty. They are extending the warranty for the radiator fan motor. Could a faulty radiator fan motor have been at fault for the leaky line to the radiator resulting in replacement of the whole assembly? Thanks so much for your help.
