Unless they are broken you do not need to replace them.

I have a question about a motor and transmission mounts. Why the mechanics told me that I have to change all mounts if one or two or three mounts is good?

Because they will all be deteriorated and it is best to change them all at once. They have to stand behind their work and if they only fix half the problem, they will have to deal with you again when you complain about the job.

From that one mount being bad its putting force on the other 3 its recommended to replace all since they will detoriate over time anyways its like changing driver side brakes and not changing pass side all that will do is fight against eachother

Hi bobachhab,

The mount seldom leaks and if they do, you would be getting black stains near the mount area.

It would mean the mounts have deteriorated and vibrations during idling, shifting into gear etc would be amplified.

Mounts are not serviceable.

I am having trouble removing right front motor mount. Three bolts and three nuts from the front right motor mount, but it will not budge and come out. I have checked underneath the motor mount in the wheel well and have found no further bolts holding it down. What am I missing?

Good morning,

Can you post a picture of what you see? I want to see what you are doing. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
