Today I was driving back home once I get ther I turn the key back and the whole ignition lock cylinder turns. I can't turn my truck off. It only turns off but not off. So I buy a new ignition lock cylinder and it does the same thing. Would it be the igniton switch? Some one told me that it might be the ignition rod wich I don't know what it is. Any help I would appreciate it!

Could be the rod but the column needs to be dropped to gain access for inspection.
