I just drove over a vicious cinder block in the middle of the road, needless to say, the oil pan is completely shot. I have welded pin sized holes before, but this is more like a fountain of oil that I don't see any use in trying to repair. I know that some oil pan replacement requires the engine to be pulled, is this one of those cases? I would like to do this myself if possible, but I have no interest in pulling the engine!
