I have a 2003 sonata which stalls seemingly at random. It only does it after driving at least 5-10 miles, after the engine has been warmed up for a little while. It has stalled while driving at 45-50 mph, at a stop just after shifting into drive, and also at slow speeds <10mph. A couple times it has started itself back up immediately, otherwise I can always restart the engine without a problem. If I catch it in time, hitting the gas will sometimes prevent it from stalling. Other than that the car drives like new, and the check engine light is not on. What would most likely be causing this? A bad sensor?
