When I'm driving and come to a stop like a red light and have to hold down the brakes; if my A/C is ON, the car will sometimes jump. It feels like a misfire but the RPM doesn't move. When it starts to act strange I turn off the A/C and it immediately stops. There is no MIL indicating that something is wrong. Its been like this for quite a while now and I don't know why it does it. Any help would be useful. Thanks.

When your AC is on the ECM raises the engine rpms to compensate for the added load on the motor. If this signal from the AC switch to the ECM is interrupted for just an instant or the ceases to process the information, the engine will lurch forward.

Have your idle speed control unit checked to make sure it's in range. To do this, you will have to hook it to a scan unit.
