When I turn the ignition to start up my car, the radio and windshield wipers work fine, when turned all the way to start, it makes a fast clicking sound, the dash board lights flicker dim but the car doesn't start, and when left in the II position the oil and battery lights come on? help please? Thank you!

Hi pinoponi,

To whom should I be addressing? Left, right or center?

The battery seems weak or the terminal connections are bad. Clean the terminals to see if it helps. A voltage reading of the battery would be required to confirm if it is low in charge.

If a jump start solves the problem, you might need to replace the battery. Get the battery tested to see if it is still good.
