When I try to drive, the car is stuck in 4wd low and remains running for only about 1-2 minutes before the engine quits. I am able to reverse and shift into drive.
A couple of weeks ago, I felt the gears slip while driving around 20 mph.
The slip was corrected after stopping and then shifting back into drive.
Does this sound like a transmission issue?
Is this a common problem with Explorers?
Also, my left rear turn signal must frequently be replaced. And my interior panel illumination dims in and out. Is there a larger problem here?
Are these two issues possibly connected?
Do you have any idea about repair costs for any of above issues?
