Hi, I own a honda civic - 98 model. Recently it started giving a creaking sound when I accelerate. I took it to a mechanic and he suggested that the reason was the distributor. So I got it replaced a few days back. But the car still gives a creaking sound ( from somewhere near the engine - I cant pin point the source ). This happens even when I accelerate slowly from rest. I tried pressing the accelerator when the car was in Parking gear. I was still able to hear the sound. Since it happen only when I press the accelerator, I assumed it to be something wrong with the engine. Could you please let me know your suggestions on this? I'd really appreciate any input from you.
Thanks in Advance,
have the same problem?
