The drivers side power sliding door was forced open by a wash attendant, it bird nested the cable around the motor. I have the new motor and have installed it. I hooked up the cables and pressed the white release buttons on the motor to take up the excess cable. I activated the door (fuse and dash switch) and the cable jumped out of the hinge. I disarmed the system (fuse and dash switch) and repaired the hinge and rehooked the cable back up, took the slack out of the cables and activated the door, the new motor birdnested. Has any one worked on one of these? Can you point me in the right direction this is getting expensive.
