My window regulator went out a couple weeks ago, an I had to replace it but after everything was done and plugged in the window would only roll up but not down. I think it might be the wiring but not sure.

Hi Snts545,

More likely to be the switch rather than anything else as the window can move in one direction but not the other.

This video will walk you through the steps on a similar car the process is the same.

Please run down this guide and report back.

Start by testing the passenger window switch first.

PASSENGER'S WINDOW SWITCH TEST

1. Remove the front passenger's switch from front passenger's door panel

2. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.

3. If the continuity is n
ot as specified, replace the switch.

I replaced to passenger side window regulator on my '03 Odyssey and for some reason, only the up direction is working. When I try to roll it down, nothing happens-no sound, motion, or anything. I do not think the motor is receiving power when trying to roll window down. The window is all the way up and I can hear a clicking noise when trying to roll it up further. I have reset the window control unit using the instructions posted in this forum as well and it does not correct the problem. I'm starting to get really frustrated, can you please help?

Thanks.

I think there's a problem with the passenger side
mutiplex, I would replace the mutiplex in the passenger side fuse box.

Yes, the passenger side mutiplex is in the right side fuse box at the foot well. It cost about $127.00 online.

My passenger side power window regulator needed to be replaced. I purchased a new one and installed it. The window only goes up from drivers side master control. The window does not go down from either drivers side or passengers side switches. I originally thought the first regulator motor was defective, took it back to the store and reistalled another regulator and motor. I still have the same problem. HELP!

Suspect faulty master switch ie. Drivers side. Do you have a volt /ohm meter or a test light?
