2008 Honda Fit 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 17832 miles
I have had to have my clutch replaced twice after only 17,832 miles. I have driven a manual transmission for about 20 years and have never experienced anything like this. The first clutch was replaced at 6011 miles. The service consultant said the clutch was "blue" and he had never seen such a worn clutch. Being a wearable part, Honda of course fingered me for the worn clutch. But replaced it along with both bearings, the flywheel, and the pressure plate free of charge. This time however they are sticking me with the bill, without further diagnostics. What could be causing the clutch to wear so quickly? I am definitely not abusing the vehicle or riding the clutch.
have the same problem?
