When making a sharp turn, or u turn, the car shakes until you straighten the wheels. It seems like the 4 wheel drive doesnt release. Solution?

Hi markallenstudio,

Quite often this happens when the differential fluids requires replacement.

The correct type of fluid must be used failing which it would judder when making full turns.

Yes, the job can be done easily.

Just drain and fill.

The front differential is incorporated into the transmission assy. The rear differential is a separate unit which is the source of grating noises when making full turns when fluid quality deteriorates.

That could be due to misfiring or a bad catalytic converter. What was the trouble code retrieved? It could throw a light on the problem.

It's a rear differential damper and is designed to keep the vibration down generated by the differential. Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
