2003 Honda Civic Hybrid 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 192000 miles
My IMA battery light is on. My technician told me as a result of this, my engine light has stayed on even though there is nothing wrong with the engine or my emissions. The cataltic converter was changed on it 3 or 4 times due to software issues with Honda. The technician said that the only way to get that light off is to replace the IMA battery, which would be very costly ($2000). I need to have that engine light off to pass my emissions inspection in a few months. I know it would pass if that light would be off. Any suggestions to make this engine light go off for a while so I can pass my inspection?
