ok I got a 2006 honda civic with a p1298 guy at the dealer said it an electrical thing in the fuse box under the dash cant really find were hes talking about but it is causing the car to not start or stay running when cold not really sure why need help?

Hi acrlimo,

The definition for the part is Electrical Load Detector located in underhood fusebox. It could be the item is faulty, its wiring circuit, alternator fuse or the PCM. Testing would have to be carried out to detemine the fault cause.
