I just started to hear an intermittent chirping sound coming from the front of the car while the car is moving. Never when it is standing still at idle. It does not make the sound when braking....however could this be the brake pad warning sound even though it does not make the sound when I step on the brakes?
Appreciate any help before I bring it into Honda dealer.

Hi there

Most probably the brakes pads are worn out and the indicator strip on the disk pads are brushing against the rotor. When you apply the brakes, the screeching noise is dampened by the pads in contact with the rotor.
