1998 HONDA ACCORD
my mechanic says I need a new catalytic convertor. Could you tell me how much I should pay to have it replaced. Thanks.

It depends if it's an aftermarket piece or an O.E.M convertor.
For OEM, expect to pay big bucks, upwards of $700. For an aftermarket piece expect around $300
