1994 Honda Accord not sure whats wrong

My car over heated and i melted the top of my radiator... well i patched the holes, put new oil in and filled the radiator with water and it started fine out side of water squirting out... the next day i started it again and it started fine... well i decided to be brave and take it to work to have my brother look at it.. well not so good. pulled over to a gas station to put water in it.. they didnt have what i was looking for went across the street to another gas station and filled.. when i tried to start it it wouldnt start..towed it to my house and she still wont start.... if u could please help me figure this out .... i would much appreciate it.... gina

Hi Gina,

I believe not much guessing is required.

The problem should be a damaged head gasket resulting in the compression dropping. Pull out the engine oil dipstick and see if the oil is milky. If yes, the cylinder head and/or gaskert is bad.

Remove the radiator cap and top up with water. Without closing the cap, crank engine and if water shoots out, the head gasket is blown.
