MY 1994 HONDA ACCORD HAS BEEN EXPERIENCING A PROBLEM (OCCASSIONALLY) OF NOT STARTING. OCCURS ABOUT 1 OUT OF 10 STARTS. WHEN THIS PROBLEM OCCURS, THE ENGINE CRANKS JUST FINE. IT SIMPLY WON'T START. NO RHYME OR REASON - HOT OR COLD, DAMP OR DRY! USUALLY, I WAIT A FEW SECONDS BETWEEN ATTEMPTS, AND TURN THE KEY AGAIN. IT OFTEN WILL START WITHIN 3-10 TRIES. THIS PROBLEM STILL OCCURS - EVEN AFTER REPLACING THE FUEL PUMP, SENDING UNIT, FUEL FILTER, FUEL TANK, AND FUEL LINES! I HAVE RECENTLY NOTICED A VIVID ODOR OF 'RAW' GAS, IN PASSENGER COMPARTMENT (ONLY WHILE DRIVING). AT THE SAME TIME, MY CAR 'ACTS' LIKE IT IS RUNNING OUT OF GAS, WHILE DRIVING! THE LEVEL OF FUEL IN TANK IS NOT A FACTOR! MY MECHANIC CAN'T SEEM TO FIGURE IT OUT (AND HE'S PRETTY CLEVER)! PLEEEEASE TELL ME YOU CAN HELP! NOTE: I HAVE ALSO REPLACED SPARK PLUGS, DISTRIBUTOR CAP, AND ROTOR!
