1981 Other Holden Models 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

I seem to be buying a set of 'Glow plugs' every 12 months and replacing the old one's, is this normal?

I gather you are talking about a rodeo. Have an auto electrician check the glow timer. I would think it is allowing too much after start glow. The timer leaves the plugs glowing for to long and they burn out quickly. There is an after market glow timer available from Ashdowns. It is half the price of original part and is adjustable.
