Engine Performance problem
1999 GMC Yukon V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 175500 miles
when the engine gets warm it bogs down and either eventually dies or you can kill it and start it again and it will run fine for a few miles. Garage changed fuel moduel, spark plugs, wires, distributer, O2 sensors and the gasket in front of the exhaust. We also changed the fuel filter. After all of these things were changed it ran great for about 1 week. Now the fuel gauge is real slow to catch up even if you just filled it up and put 25 gal. In the tank it shows only 1/4 full and it never shows empty. Just before it starts to bog down and lose power you can smell gas. Did some checking with a voltage meter and all of the electrial equip. Seems OK. Also when you remove the fuel cap it dosent't seem to have any pressure in the tank. When you kill it, it is like you resest the computer and begins to run fine. It is an onging problem. Any suggestions?
