when to chainge the timing chain I own a 1999

Hi there,
There is no set time to replace the timing chain, what you lay when you turn the crank a bit (remove the plugs first) backwards and forward, there is no tensioner so with excessive play the valve timing will be out a tittle as well, you should replace the chain and both gears as well, they will be sold as a set.
