Engine Performance problem
1995 GMC Suburban V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 29,985 miles

Thanks Car Pros for the advice last week. I took my heads 2 a machine shop 2 be checked. The mechanics told me I needed a valve job done. The valves were caped up w/oil and were not seating/sealing poorly. Now the motor was still under warranty so im considering sending it back for repairs or just doing repairs my self along with a couple of upgrades. Why, because warranty repair may take up to 2-3 wks and time is not on my side. If I repair the motor myself im leaning towards a pair of edelbrock performer alluminum heads and a piston kit. Not sure what kit would be best for a everyday driver vehicle needing a bit more torque. I have minor upgrades: edelbrock performer intake, K&N filter, flowtech shorty headers, magna flow cat, flowmaster catback exhuast system. Oh and can my dumb OBDI comp. Handle a mild performance upgrade?

Do you
have the same problem?
