1999 GMC Sonoma 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic
I own a 1999 GMC Sonoma s-10 with a v6.I've had my truck for two years now and have had it routinley serviced.I came back from a month long trip to georgia and the battery was shot so I had to buy a new one. Than the service engine light came on, a couple weeks later smoke started pouring out under the hood. It looked like it was coming from the air filter cuz it was on the left side and the guy inspecting my truck said id need to change it out soon. Than after I did buy a new air filter for it the same thing kept happening, I asked o rileys and they suggested a thermostat so I got a new thermostat. That didnt help. When my boyfriend was driving up to winston in my truck the same thing happened only to the extreme so we ended up having to drag it back on a chain. Called in to a mechanic who said it was the radiator. Got a brand new radiator and the same problem is happening. But now it wont even budge. Then we ran fluid through the radiator and now nothing, we called around and now everyone is saying it was the head gaskets so got those. I was just wondering whats actually going on and what I need to do to solve this because I'm tired of looking at half my truck sitting in the livingroom floor. Please help
have the same problem?
