Tail lights dont come on

I have a 2005 gmc sierra 1500 2x4 4.8 it has 85000 miles the tail lights dont come on but the brake lights and turn signals all work can you please help me thank you vary much

Check headlamp switch. Wiring too if you have trailer light hookup.
