WHAT IS THE CORRECT FUEL PUMP PRESSURE FOR THE 3.0 LITER V-6 MITSUBISHI ENGINE?
DOES THE FUEL PUMP ENGAGE FOR TWO SECONDS ON THIS ENGINE (NO CRANK)?

THIS ONE ONLY ENGAGES IN THE CRANKING AND RUNNING MODE. FUEL PRESSURE GAGE READS
40 PSI. THE PRESSURE JUMPS TO 50 WHEN I REMOVE THE VACUUM HOSE TO THE PRESSURE REGULATOR. WHEN I TURN ENGINE OFF THE PRESSURE GOES TO 50 PSI. ENGINE IDLES GREAT BUT WHEN I PUT IT IN GEAR IT STARTS TO IDLE ROUGH AND STALLS.
APPRECIATE ANY AND ALL HELP IN RESOLVING THIS ISSUE.

47-50 with hose disconnected and 38 with connected but 40 is ok. Try cleaning your throttle plate on both sides and iac hole with choke cleaner.
