The rear unit is designed to throw heat or cold air, designated from a front dash fan knob (left is cool, right is warm).
When you turn the knob to the left, the rear unit is supposed to blow cool air from ceiling vents. Turn the knob to the right and hot air comes from floor vents.
It only throws hot air from floor vents irregardless of the front knob in AC.
Front AC works fine.
Heater hose into the rear is hot.
AC coolant tubes to the rear are cold.
The unit is not switching over from heat to AC.
I've replaced the vacuum motor (supposed to switch the internal louver) but nothing changed.
It seems there is no vacuum in the line attached to the bottom of the vacuum motor.
Is the front dash switch bad? Or something else?
I've noticed the vacuum tube runs from the vacuum motor down underneath the chassis into a round gizmon tied into line of the heater hose.
have the same problem?
