I am going to replace the upper intake gaskets and isolator bolts on the 3.8L in this van. I was hoping I could get torque specs and patterns.

Sure! When replacing the upper intake gaskets and isolator bolts on the 3.8L engine in your 2003 Ford Windstar, it's essential to follow the correct torque specifications and tightening patterns to ensure proper sealing and prevent any damage. Here are the torque specs and tightening sequence for the upper intake manifold:

Upper Intake Manifold Torque Specs:

Intake Manifold Bolts: 89 inch-pounds (10 Nm)
Isolator Bolts: 89 inch-pounds (10 Nm)
Tightening Sequence:

Start by tightening all the bolts to 44 inch-pounds (5 Nm) in a criss-cross pattern.
Then, tighten the bolts to the final torque of 89 inch-pounds (10 Nm) in the same criss-cross pattern.
Always follow the specified torque sequence and use a torque wrench to ensure accurate and consistent tightening.

When reassembling the upper intake manifold, make sure to use new gaskets and apply a suitable gasket sealant, as recommended by the manufacturer, to ensure a proper seal and prevent any vacuum leaks.
