The red puddle lamp on the passager door won't turn on when door is opened. I've checked the socket, for the "peanut bulb, " hoping to have power, my meter showed none. The fuse for this light is OK, all other lights including the driver door puddle lamp is also OK. I've checked the wire-harness behind the door panel but checked no wires beyond this point. The wires from the socket to the first connection, behind panel, are good.
WHY doesn't the socket have power?
