Electrical problem
2002 Ford Windstar 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 110K miles

My check engine light keeps coming on. My mechanic
has replaced the starter, alternator, battery, pcv, egr,
spark plugs, in line gas filter, air filter, serpentine belt
and radiator hoses.

After doing all that, both the Check Engine light and
the Battery light came on within a few days. The
engine started cutting out, the stereo stopped
working and all the dash gauges quit working. The
car stalled out and wouldn't start (Just clicking). I
let it set for several minutes and it started right up
with the gauges and everything working. Drove about
3 miles and it did the same thing. Let it set for several
minutes and it started up again and made it another
4 miles and it did it again.

The garage that did all the above work towed in
in and said the alternator that the put in was
defective and replaced it. I've had it back now for
about 3 days and the check engine light is back on.

I'm sorry, I tried to donate $10.00 but repeatedly
got an error message and was unable to complete
the transaction so I'm using the free question route.

Get the OBD2 code/s pulled from the computer and comeback with it this is where we start the diagnosis w/o it there's no starting point.
