Shakes or Wobbles problem
2002 Ford Windstar 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

A few months ago my van was all shakey from a cold night and going to start it the next day and was really shakey from the start. Driving it for a few seconds it got really shakey and I smelt a little burning smell and the check engine light started blinking at me. The burning smell then went away. My husband did a tune up on the van replacing the spark plugs and wires. Now a few months later I had not drove the van for about 3 days and has been fine for months, I was driving it for about 10 minutes and all of a sudden it started hesitating and shaking bad again. I smelt a little burning smell that went away quickly and the check engine light was blinking as it was shaking badly. The shaking now is the roughest when it is idle and is ok after accelerating with a little hesitation here and there when on the gas but as soon as I slow down and stop and accelerate from being idle it is very shaky and jittery. When it is stopped it is the worse then going to accelerate, The codes from the engine light are P0174 and P0303. The P0174 was there for months now and the new code is P0303. We were researching what they are and came up with a conclusion of bad fuel filter/injector and/or a vacuum leak. But also searching those codes, there are other things that could be the problem but seems to be more related to the fuel filter/injector or vacuum. Please help. It also is having alot of water come from the exhaust and a really strong gas smell.

Do you
have the same problem?
