The other day I left my lights on and it drained the battery, after attempting to start it w/out any luck I turned ignition off and removed the keys and the engine still tried to turn over. Moving the fan a 1/4 of a turn each time.
After the battery was recharged it continued to do this. We replaced the starter when we had it tested and found it was fried and the solenoid switch as well.
It started and acted fine for about 2 miles, then after it was parked we restarted and it ran but the starter when running keeps trying to turn over even when its running.
Any ideas on why this is happening or how I can fix it? Thank you
