2003 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 90000 miles

was able to back out of driveway then put it into drive and it still drove in reverse every gear was reverse had hard time putting putting shifter back into park but did and I turned car off. Now I cant get my car to start and the shifter is really hard to shift still and I noticed that I can still push my car even though shifter is in park

Check the shift linkage at the transmission. The manual selector shaft may have come disconnected or may have broken off.

Not starting because its not in PARK make sure you have the emergency brake ON
DO NOT try to jump the starter or any other by pass things
check the shifter cable
