The switch of the driver's power window is not working. The 3 others switches and windows are working. I'd like to open the window panel to check what is defective. I took off the 4 screws off the panel, but I'm afraid to pry it that I might break something. I need your advise, please.

Check applicable fuses for voltage. Also, the driver door gets opened and closed so much, sometimes the wires break. At the driver door wire harness, the lite blue wire with black tracer is voltage. The black wire is voltage, check them both.

It sounds like the linkage has com apart. To be sure, you need to remove the inner door panel to gain access to it.

Let me know what you find.

Hi there,
It sounds as if you may have a faulty relay, I would get this checked out first. I have lost access to our data base, but if I get back in with in the next few days I will see if I can post a pic of its location.

You can remove door panel unplug motor and feed power and ground that should make the motor work if switching the polarity will change the direction that the motor travel
you can try doing it through the switch wires too
