1998 Ford Taurus 6 cyl 99,000 miles

If my battery was completely dead and then it was jump started it was driven for 1 hr and then turned off then 30 minutes later when I went to start it again there was a clicking noise when I went to start it up it would not turn over everything on the dashboard was lite up what could the problem be

It sounds like the battery didn't fully recharge. If a battery is completely dead, the alternator will not recharge it. It needs to be placed on a battery charger. Try that and let me know what you find. If the battery is fully charged, have it load tested at a parts store. Most do it for free. If it passes and still goes dead, there must be an electrical draw on it all the time in the car.
