Hello,

the engine coolant sensor is located at the top front of the engine. Here is a guide that will show you what you are in for when doing the job.

If you are referring to the engine coolant temperature sensor than it is located on the rear of the engine block near the thermostat

2000 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

ive got a 2000 ford taurus se 3.0 liter v6. Its overheating and ive found that the fans dont want to come on. I know that there's a heat sensor that kicks them on and im just wondering if anyone can tell me where its located exactly. Any input would be much appreciated.
