94 Taurus, 66K miles
After warmed up, if I sit for 15 to 60 seconds at a stop light, the engine dies. It gives no warning other than about 1 second of "chug" then dead. Put in park, restart and everything is fine, until the next long stop light.
This started as a 'once' in a day thing and now it's about 100% every stop light, all in a period of just a few days.
The car runs fine at speed, starts easy and smooth, idle is very smooth and no acceleration issues. Last week's 3 hour trip averaged 30.5 MPG.
I have not had the codes checked.
Any ideas welcome. Thanks in advance.
edit:This is the 3.0L, check engine light not lit.
