Your problem has not been repaired. You were sold services of questionable value without having had proper diagnostics performed.
Keep in mind that no mechanic can fix or diagnose a car over the phone or over the internet.
Having said that, I can say that this is how to begin.
First, you have to give me as much information as you can about what the problem is, and anything that you may have noticed to accompany the problem - even if it seems unrelated.
From the descriptions that you give me, I can then suggest the likeliest causes of the problem. Through it all, keep in mind that YOU must be my eyes, ears, and hands.
Let us start with a few questions:
1) Which engine do you have? What model is the car? GL? LX? SHO?
2) Did you notice any other unusual things going on - such as smoke from the exhaust? Engine noises? Indicator lights on the dash? Puddles under the car?
The more information that you give me, the better I can tell you what is wrong.
