Engine Cooling problem
1993 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 150000 miles
I have a 93 Ford Taurus GL with a 3.8 Engine. I've replaced the radiator, hoses, and thermostat last year. This year the belt and water pump. It's overheating on short trips and stalling out. But the temp guage is well within the norm range. I flushed the radiator and refilled it with just antifreeze and it's still running hot. It's an old car with alot of miles, but I really would rather not get rid of it. Any suggestions?
