It is located under the dash board. Requires removing alot of stuff to get at. If it is not leaking, you may be able to remove the hoses and use a garden hose to back flush the core. Do this by alternating back and forth between orfices til it runs free and clear. If it is plugged, could be the water pump impellor has failed, ( typical on 3.0 engine ). No coolant flow allows sediment to seal heater core shut.
