2002 Ford Ranger 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 65000 miles
I bought the truck used last year. I owned an 88 ranger previous. I noticed when I come to a stop with the rear turned hard, the abs kicks in, under 5 mph or so. I didn't think much of it because I never had all around ABS before. The past few months now, when I come to a stop 80% of the time the same hong happens no matter how the wheels are turned. Also when going relatively fast and slamming on the brakes, they will lock up slightly for a brief moment. That might be normal I don't know. The ABS light only came on maybe twice in the past month, and restarted the truck it turned off. Reading a bunch of forums lead me to either replace the 2 front sensors or theres dirt. Any help would be appreciated.
have the same problem?
