The check engine light on my truck has come on four times in the last month. First I took it to a mechanic, who said I had spark plug problems, so we replaced all four plugs with new wires. The second time the check engine light came on, I took to a friends house, who had a code reader. It came back as a misfire in the number 1 cylinder. We checked the new plugs, and installed a new fuel filter. I then took it in and had the entire fuel injection system cleaned professionally. It ran well for a couple of days, and then the check engine light came back on. The code continues to read as a misfire in the number 1 cylinder. It also bucks and jerks when being driven uphill while going between 45 and 50 mph, but doesn't struggle at all in the lower or higher speeds. What's wrong with my truck?
have the same problem?
