I have a 2001 ford ranger edge with 92,000+ miles. In the morning or after a long period of sitting with out being started my truck will shake when I start it almost as if it wants to die on me. I'll step on the gas and rev the enging a bit and then it stops. It doesnt do this at any other time just after sitting for sometime with out being started. Ive replaced the coolant temperature sensor and the idle air control valve as was suggested but this didnt solve my problem.I'm not sure what is causing this shaking?

Do you have a check engine light?

Check and test the mass airflow and throttle position sensors to include the EGR valve
