I have a 1995 ford ranger with a 4.0 litre engine in it, mileage is 104,000, it is a four wheel drive extended cab with automatic transmission. I replaced the fuel pump, fuel regulator, also the crank sensor. The fuel rail is getting forty pounds of pressure to it, we checked with fuel gauges. The truck will only crank, if I remove the breather tube and spray starting fluid into the intake then it will run until the starting fluid is gone. When it happened the door locks started locking and unlocking and the dome light kept coming on and going off when I tried to start the truck when it first happened and wouldnt start. I had a buddy put a computer on it from snap on and it wouldnt link to the truck, kept saying link error. Could you please let me know whats wrong with the truck. Thank you very much for your time.
