I replaced my o2 sensor this am, now the engine missing and there is smoke coming up from the area of the O2 sensor. I used a little liquid wrench to lossen the thread up before removing the old sensor. Could that be causing the smoke? If the sensor is not tight enough, could smoke be passing around the seal. Its not alot of smoke, lits ike a lit cigerate at your side
I cant be sure but I think I may have tightend down too hard the first time and now the threads are f'd up in the manifold! The O2 sensor will tighten but if I go too far it lossens up and I have to tighten all over again.
If I try back out of driveway, somethin up front make s a hell a ratle
have the same problem?
