I've had no problems with my '89 Ford Probe until now. It was running fine when I parked it in the driveway. When I went out the next morning, it wouldn't start. It had spark and was getting fuel, but it just wouldn't ignite. I finally had the car towed to a service station who did a complete tuneup. After that, the car ran fine for a few weeks. Then I again went out to the driveway to find the car refusing to start. I left it sit for a few days while I contemplated taking it back to put even more money into it. On impulse, I went out and tried the key and it started at the first turn of the key! It ran fine for about two weeks, and then the same thing happened again. The car suddenly just died as I was driving down the street. Fortunately, I was only a few doors from home and could push the car back into the driveway. Again, it turns over just fine, but the motor can't seem to catch. I'm desperate for any idea of what might be wrong.
have the same problem?
