I can barely get my 1995 Ford Probe SE (automatic) with 130,000 miles to go 70 MPH. If I floor the car it will barely move.I have to ease into pressing the gas to get it to accelerate fairly and even then it's not a real significant acceleration. It's almost impossible to get the RPM up to 5 grand.

I was thinking it might be the Fuel Filter, Pump or CAT but I changed the fuel filter and that wasn't it. And I'm having doubts if its the CAT because there's no smoke coming out the end. Perhaps there's a clog in the CAT or tailpipe and I guess that would cause the slow acceleration?

I have no other ideas though ive never dealt with a similar situation.

Check exhaust back pressure to determine if it's the cat could be a throttle position sensor too.
