85 Mustang II tries to start when connecting the battery while there is no key in the ignition! Car then starts and the engine sounds terrible. This all began when I tried to start the car on a very damp, rainy/slushy day. I was wondering if anyone else has ever had this situation? Could a starter wire get wet underneath the car and cause an electrical gremlin?
