It sounds like the fuel pump relay is not working. Turn the key on without cranking the engine over can you hear it in the tank? if not do the relay. Here are two guides to help you get started

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/car-cranks-but-wont-start

and

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-an-electrical-relay-and-wiring-control-circuit

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what you find.

I checked the entire fuel system all appears good. Disconnected the return at the tank cycled and got a return. Coil, plugs, wires, and according to your post the icm and the pip sensor and the eec relay. Exhaust pressure is strong enough I can't hold my hands over the tailpipes when cranking over. Ignition is firing to every plug.

I found out the timing chain let go because there is no compression. The guides helped me find it. Time for a rebuilt engine.

No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, coil's resistances, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors and computer Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it

Engine Mechanical problem
1990 Ford Mustang V8 Two Wheel Drive Manual

I had to take my car off the road for general maintenance mainly neew starter, spark plugs, wires distributor cap and rotor. Now keep in mind put gas in before hand now it will not start it will crank over but thats it. Found out I had to get a new ignition coil put that in but still will not start. What could be wrong so I dont have to go deeper in my pocket.

Start with the basics, and work your way up, Last tune up was? Wires plugs ALL filters? If all that is ok, check for a stuck EGR, then test fuel pump pressure, If it won't restart, determine what's missing, the engine needs three things to run, Spark at all plugs, gas to all cylinders, and compression in all cylinders, tho an engine may run lacking one in one cylinder, it won't run very well!

Try spraying just a touch of starting fluid in the air intake to see if it will run for a second. If it does it could be either a weak fuel pump, or the ignition switch isnt activating the injectors.

Hello,

If the vehicle will turn over and just won't start, have you check the Cap, Rotor, Plug, and Coil.

I just put my car back together after I took apart the intake, valve covers, distributor, and disconnected all the spark plug wires. Now it will crank slowly and nothing really happens except it backfired a few times and that was it. Can't seem to figure this out, any help would be greatly appreciated
